Open to all ranges of experience, this pottery class gives students the opportunity to make whatever they want. The instructor will help students create and advance their skills in both wheel throwing and hand building. Come with ideas of your own or the instructor can give you ideas for projects at your skill level.
Mondays 6pm-8pm. Ongoing
This class is an introduction to painting for beginners - we will cover how to use the medium, tools, painting techniques, basic color theory, and painting from life. The latter half of the class will consist of a still life study to put all we have learned into practice. There will be demonstrations and practical work time in each class.
Students will have the opportunity to explore many painting media, but may concentrate on one medium such as Oils, Acrylics, Watercolors, Ink, Gouache or tempera.

Wire wrapping is a simple but flexible technique that can be applied to jewelry in numerous ways. By learning a few of the rudimentary skills, you can altar and reimagine them into increasingly complex pieces. The materials and tools required are basic, which lends itself well to creating yor own designs at home. Wire-wrapped jewelry makes a wonderful gift and is an exciting form of wearable art as unique as the artist. This workshop will walk you step-by-step through various techniques to produce a stunning wire-wrapped pendant. All materials included.

Experience the restorative power of clay in this course designed to enhance well-being while learning basic pottery techniques that will serve as the foundation for your pottery practice. The tactile experience of pottery is inherently meditative. Your heart rate and blood pressure lower, your breathing regulates, and your stress level naturally subsides as you immerse yourself in this primal art form. With a focus on process, this class can soothe the psyche and provide a much needed emotional reprieve.

Can’t draw a straight line? Don’t worry!
Join us and learn techniques to help you transform basic shapes and tones into your own stylized drawings. We invite you to come and draw with us during this six-week course and develop your creativity through drawing.

Two hours of foundational art experiences for developing artists, individually based. Work in a studio environment pursuing your art interest, exploring techniques for drawing, painting and sculpture, have a chance to influence project direction and create original artwork. Ongoing classes Tuesdays and Thursdays, come both days or just one day a week. Make up times available.
